Getting Here

Palm Springs International Airport

Palm Springs International Airport is less than 15 minutes by car from all venues and is served by the following carriers:

  • Air Canada
  • Alaska
  • Allegiant
  • American
  • Contour
  • Delta
  • Frontier
  • Jet Blue
  • Southwest
  • Sun Country
  • United
  • WestJet

For those arriving from the western US, Alaska often has the most competitive fares. Also, you can sometimes save money by flying into Ontario, the nearest regional airport, which is an hour’s drive away. Ontario is served by most of the same major airlines as Palm Springs, plus AeroMexico. Many more carriers serve LAX (Los Angeles), the nearest mega-scale airport. When making travel plans, keep in mind that LAX is two-plus hour drive away and weekend traffic from LA to Palm Springs can be very congested.

Should I rent a car?

The host resort, is located approximately 8 miles from the bulk of the other participating resorts in the Warm Sands Area of Palm Springs, so you may want to rent a car.

You can always take an Uber or Lift. The cost the Warm Sands area of Palm Springs to the host resort is about $25 each way by taxi, cheaper by Uber or Lyft.

We are a friendly bunch and you can usually find someone at your participating resort to hitch a ride with.

If you fly into Palm Springs, you may be able to get by without a car by taking taxis, Lyft or Uber between the airport and your hotel, and catching rides to the party and other parts of the city with other guys at your resort. If you intend on using taxis, Uber or Lyft as your principal means of transportation, you should take into account that fares in Palm Springs are relatively expensive compared to that of most major cities. It’s amazing how quickly the money that you spend on rides can overtake the cost of an inexpensive car rental!

If you fly into Ontario or LAX, you should definitely plan on renting a car, as shuttle transportation to Palm Springs from those airports is very expensive.
